**It's the thing! It's the thing from the game! Point at the screen and clap!** I know this is a kids movie, and I feel like if you have a kid that's under 12 years old they'd probably love it... But as an adult, this was a slog. The first movie wasn't a masterpiece but it at least had some heart and some semblance of a story, this one was an incredibly superficial advertisement for anything Nintendo. Look, it's Yoshi! Look, it's Pikmin! Look, it's Birdo! It's the bee from Mario Galaxy! It's R.O.B.! It's pilot guy...

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an amazing movie with great voice acting and nostalgia from other Mario games. I personally think nothing is wrong with this movie, unless you are someone who's only played the games on the NES or the new games. If you are, you may not get some of the references like(spoiler alert) Star Fox, Ukiki, Rosalina, Luma's, and some other stuff. I would recomend watching if you've seen the first and if you've played Mario Galaxy.

You know how, sometimes, you get a burger that's so thin, overcooked, and leathery that it stops being a "burger" and starts being "a vehicle for condiments"? Enjoyable! Not much nostalgia for me because I barely played Super Mario Galaxy but I like the lore I didn't know before. I can't wait for the sequel! Thank you BlastTV Philippines!

Now I know that I'm not really the demographic for this, but I didn't mind the last one from 2023 so had an open mind as it started. Princess 'Peach' is kidnapped by the menacing baby 'Bowser' who is none too pleased that his dad has been locked up. It was engaging from start to finish. My minor gripe is that they introduced a scene that was deemed controversial by fans and removed it from the games yet they decided to add it to the movie, ok lol. Other than that, every scene had the right amount of comedy, action, suspense, and dramatic shot transitioned perfectly.
